  • Holly Probst

FOUNDER/ Speech- Language Pathologist Specialist in Orofacial Myology

Hi, I’m Holly, a speech therapist specializing in orofacial myology, who loves working with families to improve children's lives. As a mother myself, I know firsthand that your child’s health and happiness is your top priority. I am here to help your child become functional and communicate effectively and equip you and your child with tools to foster your child’s development and success.

I was born and raised in Houston. I graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Psychology and then received my Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas in Dallas, a nationally acclaimed program. I am licensed through the state of Texas and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and have worked all over the greater Houston area in home health, outpatient clinics, and private practice while collaborating with a number of different professionals. I am certified in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and the Tr-eat model for feeding/behavior therapy, and have completed extensive training with Dr. Edythe Strand in childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).

It was when my daughter was born and diagnosed with a tongue tie, lip tie, and orofacial myofunctional disorder that I began my journey towards becoming a specialist in orofacial myology. I have since found the missing link that has enabled me to more efficiently and effectively treat my patients with speech sound disorders and more. Currently, I work closely with Dr. Gandhi with West U Pediatric Dentistry and families to prepare them for tongue and lip tie release.

When I’m not working with families, I love spending time with my husband, Jacob, our daughter, Charlotte, and our dog, Finn. I love to travel, hang out with my girlfriends, read, bake, and play beach volleyball.

We are passionate about helping children not only communicate more effectively, but breathe, sleep, and eat well too.

“My son and I first met Holly in 2020. My son was 5 then. He is autistic, and delayed in speech, communication, and social skills. Holly did his initial evaluation. She was professional but at the same time friendly and fun and knew how to get his attention, which made him feel comfortable and safe.  She spoke to him clearly and with a pleasant tone. These are the little things that are a big help to an autistic child. I am very pleased to have had Holly as my son’s speech therapist for 8 months. We were very sad when we had to move away. My son’s vocabulary and pronunciation improved tremendously in that short period of time, and he was always ready and excited to go for his sessions. Holly is professional, caring, patient, and always ready to help. Highly recommend!”
